What to Wear to a Miami Beach Wedding Ceremony

Being in the subtropics, Miami Beach has great weather year-round. This is why so many couples choose Miami Beach for their destination wedding! Practically anything goes when it comes what to wear to your wedding ceremony on the beach.

During the winter and early spring months, you can wear anything you want to your Beach Marriage Ceremony, Commitment Ceremony or Vow Renewal. The humidity is at its lowest, and the temperature is nice and balmy.

However, for ceremonies during the late spring, summer and fall months, you may want to wear something light, loose-fitting, casual and cool. At that time of year, it can get a bit warm at times. (Remember, Think Tropical)!

Some of our couples dress formal, in a traditional wedding dress and suit. While others dress informal, in shorts and a sun-dress. We even have had couples get married in their bathing suits and a sarong!

Most of our brides and grooms want to be comfortable and relaxed on their special day. Since our ceremonies are on a soft sandy beach with a tropical theme, we advise wearing something light-weight and casual, and of course, to go barefoot!

Some of our brides want to wear a veil, but keep in mind that you will be by the ocean where there is often a light breeze.

Also, your wedding day is not a time to experiment with a new hair-do! We recommend wearing your hair as your normally would, for the best look in your pictures.

So, wear what you want to your Tropical Miami Beach Wedding. You can go formal, informal, and everything in between!
